• Hòn Non Bộ* Vietnamese tradition style: Using 5 element of the Universe such as: Metal, wood, water, fire, earth (Kim,Mộc,Thủy,Hoả,Thổ)
Many of them on display in front of the meditation hall to provide the landscape and water moisture evaporated from the scene to cooling down the heat- waves, who enter the hall. 1/3 in the ground 2/3 above the surface including the fence and usual growing a large Ficus for shade as the main tree with a lot of arial roots and root over rock, reaching the water and on the mountain (beautiful quality rocks) many mud man describe: fisherman, wood cutter, farmer, scholar (Ngư tiều Canh độc ) bridge, water buffalo, crain, monkey and many other type.
Recently when re-located in California, it has been scaled down quite a bit, using smaller bonsai (Shohin) and much thinner flat form as tray
