Club members have access to our physical library. Our collection has been growing for over 20 years with over 250 books, 600 periodicals, and 70+ instructional videos covering an array of bonsai-related subjects. Library materials range from basic instructional level to advanced bonsai techniques. Generous club members have donated many of the items and the club budget includes funds to support the library.
The library is located in room 104 of the Casa del Prado building which is across the patio from room 101, where the club meetings are usually held. It is open on the same Sunday prior to the regular monthly club meetings, 9:00AM to 10:30AM. Materials may be checked out for one month to be returned the next regularly scheduled meeting held at Balboa Park. Sonya Homquist, the SDBC Librarian, is always available to answer questions and assist members in locating library materials. Sonya can be reached at [email protected].
