Bonsai Fall Show and Sale Volunteer Description

 

Sept.  27th-Thursday

4-7pm – Set up room 101 with our tables and backdrops. We should be done in a couple hours. Food and drinks will be provided.

Job Descriptions:

Set Up- Move items from lockers to room 101, arrange tables, put up backdrops and table coverings.

Sept. 28th-Friday

4-7 pm- Bring show trees, plant sale items. Final Decorations

Jobs Descriptions:  

Plant Mover-Helpers with carts to move in trees/stands from the road

Plant Sale -Check in people sale items, arrange on tables.

Sept. 29th
-Saturday
10-5 Show is open.

Job Descriptions:

Before opening-Someone to put out signs

Security- means you sit and watch, converse with public

Door person- Use clicker to count guests, Greet everyone, watch for happyface stamp on plant sale receipts going out the door.

Membership table- Sit at table and hand out club info, sale of books

Plant Sales- Help public decide on plants, finalize sales, stamp receipt

Food- members bring food; this person put it out, maintains hot and cold items at safe temperatures, and cleans up.

 

Sept 30th-Sunday

10-5 Same as Saturday, 

Job Descriptions:  At End of Show

Plant Checkout- group trees by owner and check off list if sold/not sold.

Show takedown- 12-15 folks to assist in wrapping up backdrops and table covering, get everything back in lockers, final cleanup, out by 7pm.
